World-famous paragliding site Bir Billing is situated in the Himachal Pradesh, India’s Kangra district. It is known as the “Paragliding Capital of India” and draws travellers from all over the world who are passionate about paragliding.
Bir Billing draws a lot of tourists for a variety of reasons. First of all, with consistent thermals, ideal wind patterns, and breathtaking scenery, it provides excellent paragliding conditions. It’s one of the top tandem paragliding spots in the world because the landing site is in Bir and the take-off point is in Billing.
The area’s natural beauty, which is enhanced by the Dhauladhar mountain range, undulating hills, and verdant woods, adds to its attraction. For individuals who are interested in learning more about Tibetan culture and Buddhism, the tranquil Tibetan settlement of Bir is a highly significant location from a cultural standpoint.
Itinerary
- We depart from Delhi around 7:30 PM in an AC Vehicle. (Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it.)
- Pit stop for dinner at any decent roadside restaurant.
- Reach Bir by morning. Check-in to the Camps, freshen up & have breakfast.
- Later head out for the sightseeing - Visit Monasteries around the village and checkout the local market for some shopping and café hopping for Tibetan cuisine.
- Enjoy the beautiful sunset in the Mountains.
- Later come back to the campsite and enjoy around bonfire and music.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the camps.
- Morning post breakfast check out and drive for 1 Hr. to paragliding take off point at Billing for paragliding session.
- Safety briefing by pilot for Paraglider and paragliding flight up to 30 mins. with experience pilot.
- Landing at landing site at Bir.
- Later explore local café or go for mountain biking (not included in the package)
- Later in the evening, we depart for Delhi with lots of everlasting memories together.
- Reach Delhi in the morning.
